On the 6th August Business East Tamar hosted a networking event at the George Town Yacht Club with Guest speaker Guy Barnett, Deputy Premier and Minister for Small Business.
At this gathering the Minister announced that Business East Tamar was a successful recipient of funding as part of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Collaboration and Business Development Fund Project. A spirited question and answer session followed his address. Nick Duigan (Minister for Energy) also attended and contributed to the discussion.
